About The Role
The Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality and reliability of PentenAmio products. The role focuses on implementing robust test automation frameworks, identifying defects and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

The Test Automation Engineer applies established testing practices, tools and techniques to deliver consistent, repeatable and efficient quality assurance outcomes. The position requires close collaboration with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to identify defects early, reduce risk and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

By leveraging automation and modern testing methodologies, the role contributes to faster release cycles, improved product stability and enhanced user experience.

The Test Automation Engineer will work closely with the product Engineering Manager to manage priorities and discuss risk mitigation strategies associated with test outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in at least one programming or scripting language commonly used for automation, such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Proven ability to plan and implement a comprehensive test program which assesses success in accordance with product requirements and user needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multifunctional team, contributing to cross-disciplinary projects and driving shared success.

  • Have qualifications or equivalent experience relevant to the role;
  • Be an Australian Citizen; and
  • Hold a Negative Vetting 2 clearance or higher (or the ability to gain one)
