Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Despatch Coordinator - Load Planner located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Despatch Coordinator - Load Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating the loading of materials, ensuring efficient delivery schedules, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. Daily tasks include liaising with delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to meet delivery requirements, optimizing loading plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and troubleshooting any logistic issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience in load planning, logistics, and inventory management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
  • Relevant experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in logistics or related fields is advantageous
