Perth Festival is your summer invitation to otherworldly experiences. We're a not-for-profit multi-arts festival that brings world class international and local performance, music, film, visual arts and literary events to Perth, Western Australia, every summer.

As Australia's longest-running arts festival, for 70 years we have been celebrating Perth, its people and its culture on the shores of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). Founded by The University of Western Australia and grounded on Noongar Boodjar, we are uniquely placed to celebrate the oldest living cultures in the world by championing rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions and contemporary arts practice.

We have cultivated decades of cultural growth through commissioning major new works and engaging diverse audiences.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an organised and dynamic Marketing Coordinator to help bring our Festival campaigns to life.

Reporting to the Campaign Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports the delivery of Perth Festival campaigns. You will coordinate campaign assets, content and communications to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and on budget.

With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach, you will play a key role in ensuring that every campaign speaks with the tone, energy and spirit of our brand while driving audience engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in planning, delivering, and evaluating marketing campaigns across all channels
• Coordinating asset development with designers, agencies, and media partners
• Preparing and managing creative briefs, timelines, and approvals
• Proofreading and fact-checking content for accuracy, brand tone, and consistency
• Supporting internal and external communications across stakeholders and suppliers
• Tracking and managing campaign assets including images, video, and audio
• Helping to collate campaign reports and analytics
• Assisting with administrative tasks like budget tracking, invoicing, and POs
• Providing all-round support to the Marketing team, especially during peak periods

You'll Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications or campaign coordination
• Great attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Experience coordinating marketing content and working with suppliers
• Knowledge of social media platforms, CMS, and digital marketing tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; basic design, email or reporting tools a plus
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt quickly
• An understanding of inclusive marketing practices is desirable
• A flexible schedule — some evening and weekend work will be required during the Festival
