About the role:

The Assistant Project Officer, Marking and Resources assists with planning, implementing and reviewing Higher School Certificate (HSC) marking programs. The role also provides support to other administrative functions within the Exam Operations branch.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Provide operational support for the HSC and Microsoft Program and, the development of HSC Timetable and Marking Plans.
  • Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and business improvements.
  • The role has a particular focus on providing support and assistance to the team to ensure tasks are completed and outcomes are achieved.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong ability to manage competing, and conflicting priorities, within agreed timeframes while maintaining the delivery of communications advice and materials to required quality standards.
  • Proven experience managing sensitive and confidential matters associated with high stakes exams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to take initiative to support project objectives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Working with children check clearance for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at the application stage).
  • A valid NSW driver license and the ability to travel as required.
  • The willingness to work outside of normal business hours and at different metropolitan locations as required.
