We are seeking a highly motivated door & gate technician to install, repair & service all types of commercial & industrial doors and gates

Job would suit someone with a fitter, boilermaker or welding background.

You would be working on existing sites and may be required to work on new building sites depending on your experience. 38 hour week with 2pm finish on Friday. Ample overtime available.

Good wages and conditions & phone provided. Truck provided for MR licence holder.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Installation, service & repair of all types of industrial / commercial doors & gates.

· Strong fault finding skills and assessment of mechanical issues and minor

electrical problems.

· Preventative maintenance for a portfolio of clients

· Accurately measure for replacement parts.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Mechanically minded and a logical approach to jobs.

- Able to work unsupervised as well as within a team

- Willing to work regular overtime

- Good presentation & well spoken for dealing with clients on site.

- Good written communication.

PRIOR TO START, you will need:

  • OH&S & White Card essential
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children certificate
  • Medical check

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

The role can commence immediately, with package based on qualifications and experience.
