Greater Sydney NSW, Australia Independent Locksmiths & Security Full time

We are seeking a **Field Service Technician** to install and maintain electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. This role requires a hands-on professional who is well presented, provides customer service and has a good work ethic. No experience in electronic security products is required, you will be trained in the products we install and support.

**Key Responsibilities**

**System Installation**
- Install access control systems, CCTV cameras, and intrusion detection systems.
- Mount and wire devices such as door controllers, card readers, and video equipment.

**Maintenance**
- Perform regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service requests, and configurations.
- Generate service reports and update management on project progress.

**Qualifications**
- Training in electronics or telecommunications would be desirable
- Experience in field installation and service for electronic, telecommunications, mechanical or related products.
- Proficiency in cabling & hardware installation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

**Licensing Requirements**
- Driving Licence
- OH&S Construction Induction White Card

**Training**
