Welshpool Auto Mechanic is looking for a dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles
- Perform routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, steering, and suspension issues
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within timeframes
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs carried out
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain workshop professionalism
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a qualified mechanic (apprentices with strong experience may be considered)
- Solid knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
