**About the business**

Parkside Towbars has been a market leader in towbars and related 4WD and caravan accessories for 50 years. With branches in Welshpool, Osborne Park and Rockingham we have experienced rapid growth in recent years.

Due to continued success and ongoing growth, we are looking for a number of fitters for both our Welshpool and Osborne Park branches. Experience or qualifications in automotive mechanical, panel beating or auto electrical will be highly regarded. However, applicants with limited experience, but a strong passion for the industry are equally encouraged to apply. _Full-time, part-time or casual _positions are available

**About the role**

Your job will include:

- Installing towbars, bull bars, driving lights, electric brake controllers, roof racks, winches etc
- Safe use of hand, air and electric power tools
- Safety leadership & the ability to identify and implement safe work practices
- Reading and understanding fitting instructions
- Facilitating the movement of customer vehicles on and off premises
- Professional and timely fitments

Monday to Friday role.

**Skills and experience**

Essential Requirements:

- Demonstrated basic mechanical and or auto electrical knowledge from prior automotive or associated industry / interest / hobby background
- Excellent attention to detail and care for correct handling of products and vehicles
- A valid manual Driver’s licence

Desirable Requirements:

- Possession of a Motor Vehicles Repairer’s Certificate with MAF and EAF classes
- Trade qualifications in a related automotive trade
