Full Time Restaurant Manager

Reine & La Rue is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of all the restaurant and function venue activities.
We are seeking an exceptional individual with extensive experience in a fast-paced restaurant and bar, delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating strong team management skills.
Your Main Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities and services.
- Coordinate venue bookings and event schedules.
- Monitor financial transactions, prepare budgets, and manage expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop and update menus, ensuring dishes are creative, cost-effective, and meet guest expectations.
- Oversee supplier negotiations, ordering, and pricing of goods, making sure stock is purchased within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met.
- Oversee all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, and cash management.
- Lead and supervise venue staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulations, and licensing requirements to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the management of the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
- Experience in training teams and ensuring high standards are upheld.
- Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills.
- Thorough understanding of food safety and liquor licensing regulations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
