Manager - Advisory

Our KPMG Enterprise Advisory team provides strategic level advice and support to government and large corporations on major reforms and transformation programs.  We know that transformation requires people who are results driven, have insight into the strategic and tactical levers that drive organisational success and build resilience, understand project and program management principles, are prepared to think critically and who are committed to helping our clients navigate an ever-changing landscape.

We're seeking a talented Manager to join our growing Darwin Advisory team. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone passionate about contributing to the Northern Territory's business landscape. The role offers a clear pathway to senior leadership and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a high-performing team across diverse advisory projects
• Demonstrate strong project management capabilities and stakeholder engagement
• Drive strategic planning and articulate key financial and operational insights
• Manage client relationships and internal workflows with clarity and confidence
• Present to senior stakeholders and contribute to business development initiatives
• Support the growth of our Darwin market presence and advisory capability

How you are Extraordinary?

Through your work experience and knowledge in consulting, built over a 4 year period, you have acquired some of the following skills and capabilities:

• Strong people management skills (not necessarily direct line management)
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and an understanding of project management principles
• Enjoy complexity and ambiguity and bringing innovative ideas to deliver quality outcomes
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to manage time and team workflows effectively

• Tertiary-level education in commerce, business, finance, marketing, technology or similar degrees
• Project management qualifications (desirable)
