About the role

The team at Day's Contracting WA are seeking a Site Supervisor located at a Pilbara based mine site. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the team and day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring jobs and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating our civil construction team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Monitoring and reporting on job progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  • Ensuring all site works comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Liaising with clients and company management to provide updates and address any concerns
  • 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland

What we're looking for

  • Experience (3+ years) as a Site Supervisor in the mining or civil construction industry
  • Valid minimum HR driver's licence
  • WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) required
  • Strong working knowledge of water carts, earthmoving equipment and civil construction methods
  • Strong organisational skills and tech savvy
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and under extreme heat conditions
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and D&A test
  • Applicant must reside in WA
