Our client is looking for Civil/Structural Engineers who have aminimum of 6 -7 years' experience in structuraldesign ideally in consulting environment. Your technical experience isimportant, but we are also looking for individuals who can contribute to apositive company culture and a vibrant office environmentOn behalf of ourclient, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who will be expected to conduct structuraldesign; complete and review analysis and design calculations; execute andmanage the preparation of drawings and specifications; assist with mentoring ofjunior staff; manage project budgets and schedules; interact with clients; andprepare technical reports. Some of the duties assigned to (but not limited to) this roleinclude.· Implementdesign or analysis tasks in accordance with building code requirements.· Managemajor and minor design work from beginning to end.· Directthe preparation of calculations, design drawings and specifications, andperform construction administration tasks.· Supervisethe work of other engineers and CAD technicians. Support work tasks in a teamenvironment and help mentor and develop less experienced engineers.· Assistwith proposal preparation. Prepare project work plans including tasks, stafftime, and fee budgets. Control project fee budgets. Requirements· Minimumof 6 -7 years' experience in structural design ideally in a consultingenvironment.  Proficiency with behaviorand performance of materials, especially steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber,and masonry.· BEngin Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.· CharteredEngineer status or close to completion.· Writtenand spoken English proficiency.· Proficientin writing and editing project specifications and technical reports.· Strongwritten and oral communication skills.· Demonstratedability to meet deadlines.· Abilityto work in a team environment.· Workcollaboratively on multiple solutions for clients and objectively summarize thebenefits and shortfalls of each.· Proficientin the use of computer analysis software (e.g., SpaceGass, Strand7 or similarprograms).· Abilityto work in and review work in AutoCAD.· Proficientin the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office suite software BenefitsThis is your opportunity to join a reputed organization in Perth andmake a significant impact on the WA business – It's your chance to accelerateyour careerJoin our client & work directly with the best in the industry.
