We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our highly regarded finance team in Newcastle, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This is a full-time contract opportunity based in our beautiful Newcastle office, with the flexibility to choose to work 4 or 5 days a week.

The Role

You will be managing the company's accounts receivable processes, taking full ownership of your ledger and ensuring payment from customers. You will be responsible for collections, account reconciliation and deal directly with our clients to conduct collection calls and follow-ups, reconcile accounts and allocate payments, collaborate with our internal partners, managers and teams to resolve issues and queries and other adhoc administrative duties as required.

You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar credit control position
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiar with Apxium and MYOB PM
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Ability to build trust and repour with our clients
