Our client is a highly-regarded CBD law firm renowned for its collaborative culture and exceptional dispute resolution practice. They're currently seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level to join their thriving disputes team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The position will see you working hand in hand with an industry recognised dynamic Partner on a a range of complex and varied commercial Litigation matters. These will be predominantly in the Supreme Court and Federal Courts including–

  • Complex disputes under the Corporations Act;
  • Regulatory Investigations and disputes;
  • Contractual disputes;
  • Directors and Officers Duties;
  • Negligence claims;
  • ASIC investigations;
  • Misleading and deceptive conduct claims;
  • Property and development related disputes;
  • Corporate Insolvency, Personal Insolvency and Bankruptcy;
  • Competition and consumer Law disputes; and
  • Debt Recovery and Security Enforcement.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have at-least 4 years post-admission disputes experience gained within a sizeable mid tier or specialist practice firm. In addition, you will have:

  • An eagerness to progress and develop within commercial litigation;
  • Highly developed technical skills;
  • A commitment to producing a high standard of work;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative team environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • The ability to develop and manage strong relationships.
