There is ample street parking a short walk away or within a 10-minute walk from the train station or metro. This firm has regular social activities, and you will have the option to work partly from home post probation. There is also ample client contact

Duties within this role will include:

  • Complex taxation calculations
  • Tax returns and financials for companies, partnerships, trusts, SMSF and individuals
  • Calculation of CGT and FBT for clients
  • Quarterly BAS and IAS
  • Reconciliation
  • Regular monthly and quarterly reporting for a handful of clients
  • Div 7A calculations
  • Communicate with clients in regards to basic tax matters, following up on information and addressing client queries, over the phone and email

Experience and personal attributes required:

  • 3 + years of experience within a Business Services / Taxation role in Australia
  • Experience working for private clients, family businesses and corporate structures
  • Experience with trusts, partnerships, individuals and companies
  • Team player
  • CA/ CPA qualified or part qualified
  • Willing to process work from the ground up
  • Great communication, technical ability and confidence to communicate with clients
