Data Analyst – Transforming Lives with Data at ORS

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting solutions that support timely, impactful decision-making across the organisation.
- Connect, clean and model data from various sources, including SQL Server, SharePoint, Dataverse and Microsoft Fabric, to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Work collaboratively with business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver insightful, user-friendly reports that enable informed action.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting documentation and manage data refresh schedules to guarantee timely and reliable data delivery.
- Partner with senior analytics professionals to uphold data quality, integrity and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Support compliance with data governance policies and privacy standards relevant to health and workplace rehabilitation data.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Early career candidates with some experience or a strong interest in Power BI, Excel or other data visualisation tools are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of fundamental data and reporting concepts, including tables, relationships and basic data modelling.
- Eagerness to develop skills in DAX, Power Query (M) and Power Automate workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with great attention to detail and practical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
Desirable Attributes:
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform components such as Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Experience integrating data from SQL Server, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric or SharePoint environments.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging automation and analytics to improve business processes and performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
