ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for us, as we have created a brand-new Data Analyst role within our Community Cricket & Capability (CC&C) department. As the Data Analyst you will gather and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations which offer actionable items to sustainably increase participation in our game. This is a 12-month fixed term role.
You will play a pivotal role in providing analytical insight to increase cricket participation, manage key data-based projects and assist with the up-keep of data quality, cleansing and alignment throughout the organisation. If you consider yourself a motivated and ambitious Data Analyst with a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Data continues to be an integral part of Cricket Australia’s fabric. We have big plans for this space, so we’re looking for an individual with drive, passion, and energy to continue building with us on our data journey.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Statistics or related Business discipline OR solid contemporary equivalent work experience combined with ongoing professional development including licences and certification with a data analysis focus.
- Analytical mindset - curious, problem solver and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse large data sets, derive meaningful insights and summarise into an effective presentation of the insights.
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word Skills.
- Experience writing SQL queries and advanced Power BI skills.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, plan workload, meets deadlines and achieve the objectives through effective use of time.

- Passion for grassroots sport and the impact it can have on improving communities.
