The Capability and Learning Specialist - Workers Compensation, is responsible for the design and implementation of all capability and learning requirements across Workers Compensation. It establishes the annual learning and development plan with a focus on staff onboarding, customer service, leadership and technical expertise. The role engages internal and external experts as needed and optimises customer, people, risk and financial outcomes. This is a permanent full-time role based in Boorloo (Perth).

What You'll Do

Design and maintain the Workers Compensation Learning and Development framework, which includes both Claims and Underwriting Design and deliver the annual learning and development plan with a focus on staff onboarding, customer service, leadership and technical expertise Lead the assessment and reassessment of business capability for planning and continuous improvement Develop and maintain learning platforms, tools and resources for all programs, including the design and maintenance of the staff competency development framework Lead projects and initiatives as needed. E.g. claim centre release training, road-shows, career and development activities, compliance training and staff surveys

What You'll Bring

Extensive experience in the Workers Compensation scheme Ability to analyse and interpret injury management legislation or policy Ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders and providers Group training and presentation skills Coaching and mentoring skills Training program content development and coordination - Certificate IV in Training& Assessment advantageous
