IDC Construct is a commercial construction company. We build projects over a range of sectors such as multi-residential, industrial and commercial.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Project Managers on multiple concurrent projects to ensure high quality performance and in accordance with contractual obligations, legislation and our policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general support the project team
- Raise, issue and close out purchase orders
- Purchase order and invoice reconciliation
- Assist with subcontractor management including preparation of packages, scope of works and procurement
- Document Control
- Assist with progress claim and variation preparation and control
- Project coordination
- Management and tracking of project expenditure
- Administration of RFI's to stakeholders
- Administration of the project HSE system
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- The required 3 years minimum experience must be in construction or related industry
- Qualifications in Construction Management, or trade qualification will be highly regarded
- Enjoys teamwork
- A quick learner
- Ideally proven expertise using project software (ideally Jobpac, MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint)
- Ability to communicate in a highly professional manner
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings
- Experience in $10m+ projects, including Design and Construct
- Previous experience with commercial construction companies
- Strong attention to detail
- A proven ability in using, improving and developing systems
- Australian work rights are required for this position
