Overview

We're looking for a world-class Sales Development Representative to fuel the top of our funnel. This role is for someone who 
lives and breathes outbound
 — someone who treats sequences like craft, loves data, and sweats every detail.

You'll be 
based in our Sydney office
, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our APAC GTM team while supporting our global sales organisation. This is an 
on-site, learning-heavy role
 where you will sit with AEs, listen to calls daily, and accelerate your development through real-time collaboration.

What you'll do
1. Outbound & Pipeline Generation (your craft)

  • Build, test, and optimise outbound sequences across email, phone, LinkedIn, and video.
  • Run highly personalised outbound to CHRO, CPO, TA leadership, and HR Ops personas.
  • Use Salesloft like a surgeon: sequencing, A/B tests, call workflows, and analytics.
  • Maintain immaculate hygiene in Salesforce — no shortcuts, ever.

2. Research & Targeting

  • Own and refine our ICP continuously.
  • Run exceptional pre-call research: triggers, hiring volumes, ATS stack, governance, and org shifts.
  • Spot intent signals early — hiring blitzes, restructures, vendor changes, budget cycles.

3. Qualification

  • Conduct crisp, compelling first conversations.
  • Uncover real pain: inefficiency, fairness risk, talent shortages, assessment bottlenecks, volume hiring spikes.
  • Progress only well-qualified opportunities with airtight notes and next steps.

4. Collaboration & Alignment

  • Partner tightly with Marketing (Laura) on campaigns, events, and content-led outreach.
  • Collaborate with AEs globally for clean handovers and high-context qualification.
  • Track weekly activity, conversions, insights, and sequencing performance.

What you bring

  • 1–3 years' SDR experience in SaaS — ideally HR tech, AI, or enterprise software.
  • Mastery of Salesloft (or Outreach): sequences, dashboards, A/B tests, prioritisation.
  • Extreme attention to detail — typos physically upset you.
  • Outbound is your home: high volume + high craft + high discipline.
  • Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo).
  • Curiosity about AI, HR, and the future of work — credible with senior HR leaders.
  • The resilience and edge of someone who loves the grind: targets, dials, data, iteration.

Success in your first 90 days

You will:

  • Launch, manage, and iterate outbound sequences for AU, UK & EU ICPs.
  • Follow up on key events & campaigns (WiHTL, Joe & The Juice breakfast series, etc.).
  • Deliver a consistent weekly drumbeat of 
    2–3 booked meetings per day
