We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and experienced Maintenance Officers to represent Danihers Facility Management across a variety of sites throughout Melbourne.You will be required to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our sites are safe, clean and secure, regularly maintained, and repaired.  No day will be the same, as you may be working at different sites depending on demand.Do you have...Strong work ethics, including the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a broader team.Strong experience in grounds and general building maintenance, preferably in a school environment.Passion to deliver high-quality services.The ability to work within a fast-paced environment, working towards deadlines without losing your attention to detail.Good time management and excellent communication skills.An understanding of OH&S, Quality and Environmental Management systems.Carpentry experience or are you an experienced handy man?To succeed you will need:A professional attitude and consultative approach to issues, tasks and ideas.Exhibit passion about the industry and show pride in the responsibilities of the role.Well-developed decision-making skills.An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high quality finishes on time while providing great customer serviceDemonstrate a priority for high quality in process and outcomes.The ability to deliver integrity by building trusting and open relationships with our clients and business partners.Flexibility, being agile and adaptable are essential to success.Always approachable by exerting excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to apply.Previous experience working in a fast-paced school environment is advantageous, but not crucial.  A trade qualification in carpentry or building construction is essential to be successful in this role.Does that sound like you?
