Don't come for an easy career. Stay for a rewarding one.
At Santos, we do work that matters and always have. When you join us, so will you.
As an ASX 20 global energy company, we're committed to providing reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.
To make it happen, we work as One Team and ask ourselves, "How can we?" (Even when others say, "We can't.")
We're proud of our history as pioneers, problem-solvers, and pragmatists. And as we strive to achieve our Vision2040, we've got our sights set on a culture that is focussed and disciplined to drive value, and entrepreneurial and energised to leave a positive legacy.
The difference isn't just thinking big – it's delivering on it too. As part of the team, you'll tackle one of the most complex problems of our time. It's no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.
What you'll do:
The IS Enterprise Asset Management Service Delivery Lead (SDL) based in Adelaide is a pivotal role responsible for steering the delivery and ongoing optimisation of the SAP S/4 Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and its associated applications. Collaborating seamlessly with Santos business units and IS Service Towers, you will ensure technology solutions not only meet today's demands but anticipate and adapt to tomorrow's evolving business landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and consistent application of relevant policies and procedures.
- Apply innovative thinking within your area of expertise by leveraging industry and company knowledge to develop, advise, recommend, and deliver plans aligned with the company's strategy.
- Oversee Santos' Managed Services Provider to guarantee contracted services meet expectations.
- Champion change and foster a performance-driven culture to achieve desired cultural outcomes.
- Ensure effective maintenance of SAP EAM and related applications, whether deployed on-premises, in the AWS cloud, or as true SaaS offerings.
- Implement and deliver cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies relevant to applications, platforms, and 'as-a-service' offerings.
- Maintain strict adherence to the Santos Management System (SMS), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.
- This varied role manages enterprise-wide technology and offers a unique overview of the entire internal business structure.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP S/4 Asset Maintenance Modules, encompassing master data, preventive and corrective maintenance, and integration capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Maintenance Management best practices and third-party EAM applications.
- Proven experience managing vendors and IS contracts within both project and Business-As-Usual (BAU) environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder and customer management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across diverse teams.
- Experience developing and maintaining IS strategies and roadmaps tailored to SAP EAM systems.
- Technical understanding of third-party EAM tools related to work printing, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Background in governance within project and business contexts.
- Degree qualified or equivalent tertiary education and/or relevant industry experience.
What you'll get:
Here, you'll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects. We don't shy away from solving tough problems at pace. We like it that way. You can expect to be challenged and supported; to learn and grow.
At Santos, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. This means a place that is safe; where you are valued and respected, and your contribution is recognised and appreciated. Join us, and you'll play a role in this too.
Each of our sites offer access to specific amenities that aim to create the best possible benefits to your health, wellbeing and performance.
What you're part of:
Everywhere you turn you will be a part of a team who are coming together to contribute to our single uniting purpose - to provide reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.
And because it's not only what you do, but how you do it, you will also contribute to improving the living standards of the communities where we operate, building enduring and respectful relationships that serve a generation. It's about each of us, and all of us – together.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted via the online recruitment system before COB Tuesday 30th September 2025.
