About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join us on afternoon shift which attracts a 30% loading.

The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for the provision and delivery of outstanding maintenance services to a large production team.

Key focuses & responsibilities will include:

  • Planned and breakdown maintenance;
  • Upgrade works to mechanical equipment;
  • Compliance with all OHS policies and procedures in place, as well as participation in safety related projects and committees.

About You

To be successful you will be trade qualified and demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery
  • Safety and compliance systems
  • Materials handling equipment
  • Welding and minor steel fabrication
  • Operation of lathes and milling machines
  • Have a 'can do' attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate an ability to build & encourage strong working relations
  • Be committed to our OHS policies and procedures.
  • Be willing to complete a medical including drug and alcohol screening and a police check.
  • Forklift Licence, Confined Spaces and Working at Heights (Advantageous)
