Job Opportunity: Maintenance Fitter

This role is a great opportunity for someone to utilize their trade-qualified skills in ensuring the effective operation of our manufacturing plant.

  • Completing allocated and emergency maintenance tasks
  • Fabricating and machining replacement parts as required
  • Liaising with internal manufacturing teams for plant breakdowns and requirements
  • Undertaking maintenance tasks in order of priority to ensure effective operations
  • Maintaining accurate records in our maintenance management software

About You:

  • Trade-qualified Fitter and Turner or relevant 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance environment with automation knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Air Pump production systems, and machining and welding techniques
  • Current forklift licence and EWP Yellow Card
  • Proficient computer and time management skills, along with articulate communication
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S procedures and processes
