Job Overview

Our Company is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for completing planned and unplanned maintenance work in a timely manner.
  • Focus on site services (steam, compressed air, refrigeration) and waste water treatment plant with support on production lines as needed.
  • Work alongside production teams to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of production facility.
  • Respond to breakdown calls during shift to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Participate in maintenance programs through SAP, including preventative, corrective, and breakdown responses.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in mechanical trade required.
  • Strong skills in fault finding and problem solving essential.
  • Experience working with boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, and/or waste water treatment desirable.
  • Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics an advantage.
  • Able to safely work individually and within team environment, following company policy and procedures.
  • Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts as needed.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and develop skills on the job required.
