Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its foam, rubber and pool categories. We are in a massive growth phase, and an opportunity now exist for a qualified swimming pool technician to join the Clark Rubber Ellenbrook team in Perth's north eastern suburbs. While predominantly out on the road, some retail and pool shop work may be required during the cooler months of the year.

The successful candidate will:

· Be able to work autonomously but also be able to work in a team environment as required

· Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English

· Take pride in their work

· Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge

· Work alongside another qualified pool technician and staff within the Clark Rubber store.

Key responsibilities include:

· General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing domestic swimming pools

· Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners

· Sales and installation of new equipment

· Quote generation and follow up

· Scheduling and inventory management

Candidates should have:

· A current driver's license

· Experience in onsite swimming pool service/maintenance preferred but not essential

· Great customer service skills and an ability to work in a team

· Extensive pump/filter/chlorinator and pool equipment knowledge.

· Be highly motivated, with a positive attitude, ability to work unsupervised and think on your feet.

· Enjoy the outdoors and engaging with customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
