With Consumer Asset and Personal Loans a huge area of growth for Latitude Financial, we are continuing to grow our 3rd party broker channel rapidly and introduce new products and customer solutions. We are looking for an adaptive and motivated person to join our team.
The
Broker Relationship Manager
is responsible for growing their portfolio by establishing and maintaining relationships with brokers in QLD and supporting them with the distribution of Consumer Personal and Asset Loans.
While this role is focused on consumer lending, we strongly encourage candidates with existing relationships/experience in Residential Home Loans and/or Commercial Lending to apply. Your understanding of credit policy, structured finance solutions, and navigating broker channels will provide a strong foundation for success in this space. If you've previously worked in mortgage or commercial lending and are looking to broaden your lending career, this is a great opportunity to pivot and grow with a leading fintech lender.
This role will work closely with our State Manager to support the development of partnerships with Latitude's key aggregators, while building relationships with our internal stakeholders across Latitude's Consumer Asset & Personal Loans Assessment, Underwriting, and Settlements teams. Supporting positive customer and broker loan application outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, evaluate and pursue leads and opportunities to maintain a continuing application pipeline of current and future prospects.
- Build and strengthen relationships with brokers who distribute personal and motor loans.
- Leverage your existing relationships in home loan or commercial lending to help brokers diversify their offering in unsecured lending products.
- Establish strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed growth and volume targets.
- Deliver presentations to third parties highlighting our products and capabilities.
- Support training and accreditation of new brokers.
- Commit to business objectives, driving results through collaboration, problem solving with our sales and support teams, and actively managing your sales pipeline.

Let's talk about you
Someone who is enthusiastic, a self-starter and has a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. You'll be on the road, managing your own schedule/visits and driving relationships.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in senior B2B sales within the broking industry or similar will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of consumer finance, specifically personal loans and asset finance.
- Experience in Residential Home Loans and/or Commercial Lending through broker or aggregator channels. A working knowledge of NCCP, lending compliance, and responsible lending principles will be highly valued.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting practices in a fast-paced lending environment.
- Demonstrated success in new business sales in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines – both individually and as a team player.
- Passion for consistently delivering outstanding Customer Service.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to build long-lasting, positive relationships with brokers and dealers. You're a face-to-face communicator
- You have an innate ability to consume and interpret data and insights to drive performance outcomes, which will lead to improved customer satisfaction and engagement.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as an RM or BDM in broker/3rd party distribution
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance, or over 5yrs in industry
- Undergraduate degree in finance or related discipline
- Exposure to both secured (home or commercial) and unsecured (personal or asset) lending will be highly advantageous
