The Maintenance Supervisor role plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of our equipment and machinery.

This position involves both corrective and preventative maintenance, as well as fabrication tasks on various grain handling machinery, systems, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

· Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule across a wide range of equipment including conveyors, elevators, forklifts and augers.

· Identify base cause of breakdowns and implement effective solutions.

· Repair or replace faulty components and parts to minimize downtime and maximize operations.

2. Fabrication and Welding:

· Fabricate and modify custom parts and fixtures for both existing and new equipment and machinery.

· Ensure all fabrication work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

3. Emergency Response:

· Capacity to respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, or emergencies.

· Collaborate with management, staff and third parties (when necessary) to quickly address issues and implement solutions.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

· Assist in the maintaining of accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.

5. Safety and Compliance:

· Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, and HACCP standards.

6. Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.

7. Inventory Management:

· Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and fabrication tasks.

· Secure all tools and equipment in an organised manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
