Spitting Image Catering is looking for motivated & professional waiters / catering staff.

We are based in Blackburn North close to all public transport and free carparking is available on site.

The role is Casual and we can offer between 5-25 hours per week depending on needs

We have events on 7 days of the week so the roster can suit your availability. The busiest time for shifts is Thursday, Friday & Saturdays - includes lunch and dinner shifts

We welcome staff of all ages & cultural diversity.

Your main role is catering assistant of events : -

* Assist with the set up and pack down at each catering event.

* Help our chef manage the buffet and replenish food as required.

* Collect plates and cutlery from guests after their meal.

* Some events require canape service to guests at cocktail parties

* Assist with loading the vans at our kitchen and unload the food at events

* Assist with buffet service as required

* Tidy up and light cleaning using our conveyer belt dishwasher at the end of the shift

* Barwork is also available if you have an RSA

You are required to meet at our kitchen in Blackburn North and travel to each event as a passenger with our chef in our new catering vans.

The role also includes varied tasks including sorting cutlery, counting and allocating bread rolls and light food prep if you are interested

Experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential.

We are a small family owned business and we offer training for our new team members.

You must be reliable, well presented, have great communication skills and posses a positive, can do attitude

Another bonus is you are paid to travel to and from each event as a passenger in our van.
