We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our Opal Bags Solutions site in Thomastown is currently looking to for 3 machine operators/ production line operators to join the team on the day shift (7:30am to 3:35pm) and the afternoon shift (3:30pm to 11:35pm).

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Operate machinery (including printers) in a safe manner
  • Maintain a clean and well organised workspace
  • Communicate with other team members and team leaders
  • Work efficiently to achieve production targets
  • Perform quality checks
  • Uphold safety standards

  • Experience in running a high-speed production line (would be highly regarded)
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferable
  • Experience working with fibre industries (such as food packaging or paper) would be viewed favourably, but is not required
  • Have a strong work ethic and the willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills & ability to follow instructions
  • A positive team player, with a good eye for detail
