We are working with one of Australia's leading construction and building QS firms based in Melbourne with multiple offices across the country.

Our client have been around for over 45 years as an established cost management practise and have long-term partnerships with some of the largest building and construction companies across the country.

With a low turn over of staff and an exciting diverse portfolio of work, this is a fantastic company to join long-term who can keep every day different.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a working knowledge of CostX. You will be required to undertake the duties of a Quantity surveyor with post-contract work including:

  • Undertaking detailed measurement and pricing
  • Working as a part of a team to achieve project outcomes
  • Building client and stakeholder relationships
  • Undertaking site inspections
  • Preparing Progress Claims and undertaking assessments

Qualities and experience:

  • Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • AIQS or RICS membership preferred
  • MUST have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in the Australian market
  • Successful, enthusiastic, keen to succeed
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Excellent written communication
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of electronic measurement systems
