Introduction to the company

Woodstock Early Learning Centre at Brushbox St in Sydney Olympic Park promotes connecting to the natural environment with light filled rooms and spacious outdoor environments. This well established centre opened in 2018 and is close to public transport and shops. The centre caters for 80 children per day, from 6 weeks to 6 years. You will be welcomed by a supportive and dynamic team of educators who work closely to ensure the children are always the priority.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Engage and interact in professional, positive and responsive ways with children, families and team
  • Creating a stimulating and responsive environment for children to flourish
  • Lead the team to implement an educational program to achieve a high quality education and care
  • Guide and assist with the development and implementation of the curriculum - programming and planning.
  • critically reflect on you own practices and use this information to ensure the self-assessment is current and relevant, as well as the teams.

Requirements of the Role

  • Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • 2 or more years' experience in caring and educating children
  • Working with children check
  • Good understanding of the NQF, EYLF, law and regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • First aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training
