Position Overview

Are you a natural relationship builder with a sharp commercial mindset? This is your chance to join Diligent, a global leader in SaaS technology, as we continue to scale at speed. We're growing fast, and so is our world-class Talent Acquisition team.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and has proven experience hiring commercial roles, from sales and marketing to customer success. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you'll play a key role in shaping how we attract and hire exceptional talent across our Sydney and wider APAC teams.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact, partnering closely with the business, influencing hiring decisions, and bringing the best commercial talent into a company transforming the way modern governance and compliance work gets done. This role will be a 6 month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner deeply with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft compelling job ads that speak to Diligent's brand and culture.

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for commercial roles – sourcing, screening, and closing top talent across sales, marketing, customer success, and more.

  • Source creatively through networking, talent communities, and digital platforms to find and engage high-caliber candidates before they hit the market.

  • Be a trusted advisor to business leaders — providing insights on market trends, compensation, and hiring best practices.

  • Champion an outstanding candidate experience from first touch to offer stage, ensuring every interaction reflects our values.

  • Leverage technology – from our ATS to data-driven sourcing tools – to streamline and enhance how we recruit.

  • Manage agency partnerships where needed, ensuring accountability, alignment, and strong collaboration.

  • Bring market intelligence to the table: share trends, talent insights, and competitor activity that inform our hiring strategies.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proven success recruiting commercial roles (sales, marketing, GTM, or similar), ideally in a tech-driven or SaaS environment.

  • A track record of delivering across multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and influence commercial priorities.

  • A relationship-first mindset – you build trust quickly with stakeholders and candidates alike.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfort with data, systems, and process – you know how to use tools to make hiring smarter and more efficient.

  • A collaborative, proactive, and curious approach – always looking for ways to improve and add value.
