The Company
Our client is a market leader in the specialist medical industry, backed by a global private equity firm. As they continue to expand their footprint across Australia, they are in an exciting phase of refining their operations and developing best in market practices.
With this growth journey, they are expanding their recruitment function with the addition of a second Talent Acquisition Specialist This role will be responsible for supporting various sites, working in partnership with the GM, People & Culture, the broader recruitment team, and regional leaders. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving effective hiring outcomes that enable practice and business growth.
The Leaders
This role reports to the GM, P&C, who is well-tenured in industry, having operated in high-performance environments. You will also work closely with two exceptional HR Business Partners, a HR Advisor, an additional TA specialist and regional leaders across Australia to manage people related matters and drive engagement and performance.
The Opportunity
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes across the South region. This position works in close partnership with practice and regional leaders to understand workforce requirements, manage end-to-end recruitment activity, and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
While overall talent acquisition strategy is set at a broader level, this role is integral to bringing it to life locally. Success will be achieved through building trusted stakeholder relationships, running efficient and effective recruitment processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of how our client attracts and engages talent.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with the GM, People & Culture, an additional Talent Acquisition Specialist, and regional leaders to execute the Talent Acquisition Strategy locally, translating workforce needs into effective hiring outcomes that support practice growth.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including job briefing, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews (with support from the People Administrator), and onboarding.
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers, with success measured by quality of hires, time to fill, and process feedback.
- Build and maintain strong talent pools and pipelines across key roles by leveraging ATS/CRM tools and nurturing relationships with passive and active candidates.
- Collaborate with leaders to align pipelines with workforce plans and anticipate future hiring needs.
- Contribute regional insights, feedback, and best practices to strengthen recruitment processes, tools, and the Talent Playbook across the wider group.
About You
If you are a people-focused recruiter who loves building genuine connections with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues, this role will feel like a great fit. Clear communication comes naturally to you, and you know how to bring others on board with best practice in a way that feels collaborative
You're confident managing multiple recruitment processes at once, keeping everything moving smoothly whilst creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
Bringing a knack for spotting great people, you will also need to be confident using ATS/CRM systems to stay organised and keep processes transparent. If you are someone who recognises that each leader has unique needs and can tailor your approach to suit, who sees challenges as opportunities to problem-solve, and who gains energy from working in an environment that is growing, changing, and evolving quickly, then we would love to hear from you
The Process
There will be two rounds of interviews for this opportunity in addition to meeting with a Levyl Consultant.
