Employment Type: Seasonal/Shift Work

Pay: $42-$48 flat rate per hour; rate is dependent on candidate experience and being multi-skilled operators

About the Role: We are seeking reliable and motivated Mill Mud & Dunder Spreading Truck Drivers to join our team for the current crushing season at the Plane Creek (Sarina Mill). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and essential operation. The role involves transporting and spreading of Mill Mud and Dunder from Mill to Cane Paddocks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy rigid and / or heavy combination trucks in and around the Sarina Mill area
  • Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle
  • Follow all site safety procedures and traffic management plans
  • Maintain accurate delivery and load records
  • Work cooperatively with mill staff and other team members

Requirements:

  • HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence for Mill Mud transport
  • HC (Heavy Combination) Licence for Dunder transport
  • Previous truck driving experience
  • Strong safety focus and compliance with WHS standards
  • Ability to work shift work (including nights, weekends, and public holidays)

Shift Pattern:

  • 6 days on, 2 days off rotation usually however happy to discuss alternate patterns.
  • Day and night shift work required
