About the role

Join the dynamic team at K2Q Contracting as an MC Truck Driver. In this casual role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of Bulk Material across a variety of routes in and around Dysart, Queensland. With a focus on delivering excellent customer service, you will play a key part in supporting the company's operations and contributing to its success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate MC-licensed heavy vehicles to transport a range of bulk materials
  2. Ensure the safe loading, unloading and securing of bulk materials
  3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
  4. Maintain detailed trip logs and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients
  6. Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and traffic laws
  7. Assist with general vehicle maintenance as required

What we're looking for

  1. Valid MC (Multi-Combination) driver's license
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience operating multi-combination vehicles
  3. Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and the ability to navigate different road conditions
  4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  5. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  6. Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and demands
  7. Strong organisational skills and attention to details

  3. Be able to pass a Medical and Drug + Alcohol Test
  4. 7/7 Day/Night roster - DIDO (Travel Allowance)
