FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, telecommunications, finance, and enterprise sectors.
FinXL is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading federal government agency on a major national network transformation program. This is a critical engagement driving the delivery of cloud-based connectivity and security solutions across 1,200+ sites. Candidates with NV1 clearance are strongly preferred, though those with Baseline clearance may also be considered.
This role offers flexible work arrangements and can be performed from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Canberra.
Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and maintain master schedules for large-scale technology programs using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate project schedules across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment within a broader transformation program.
- Maintain and manage project documentation including document registers, risk registers, and formal transmittal registers.
- Issue formal notifications and communications to clients and stakeholders.
- Work closely with delivery, engineering, and program teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and identify risks.
- Provide high-quality reporting and scheduling insights to program leadership.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Master Scheduler on large-scale technology or network transformation programs.
- Strong proficiency with MS Project, including multi-stream scheduling and reporting.
- Experience working with federal government clients from a vendor/consulting perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project documentation, registers, and formal communications.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- NV1 Security Clearance preferred (Baseline may be considered).
