Job Description

Duties:

  • Oversee the restaurant and bar during evening service, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen teams.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
  • Assist with staff training, rostering, and maintaining service standards.
  • Manage end-of-night cash-ups, reporting, and venue security.
  • Work closely with the

General Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth operations.

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
  • Lead and motivate a team across both venues
  • Manage bookings, stock, and general restaurant/bar duties
  • Ensure compliance with RSA and licensing regulations
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for guests and locals alike

Requirements:

  • Work experience as a restaurant manager, hospitality manager, or similar role
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Customer service experience as a manager
  • Training in food safety
  • Experience working long shifts
  • Financial management skills
  • Ability to keep inventory organized
  • Food and beverage knowledge, including the ability to remember ingredients and menu items
