Job DescriptionDuties:
- Oversee the restaurant and bar during evening service, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service.
- Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
- Assist with staff training, rostering, and maintaining service standards.
- Manage end-of-night cash-ups, reporting, and venue security.
- Work closely with the
General Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
- Lead and motivate a team across both venues
- Manage bookings, stock, and general restaurant/bar duties
- Ensure compliance with RSA and licensing regulations
- Deliver an exceptional experience for guests and locals alike
Requirements:
- Work experience as a restaurant manager, hospitality manager, or similar role
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Customer service experience as a manager
- Training in food safety
- Experience working long shifts
- Financial management skills
- Ability to keep inventory organized
- Food and beverage knowledge, including the ability to remember ingredients and menu items
