Northern Tablelands Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving machinery, trucks, and heavy vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation. This full-time position is based in the Armidale NSW region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles, earthmoving machinery, and associated equipment
  • Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on-site and in the workshop
  • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or Plant Mechanic
  • Experience with a variety of machinery, including Dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and trucks
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems in heavy machinery
  • Welding experience
  • Drivers Licence Required
