Our federal gov client is looking to engage an enthusiastic Enterprise Integration Tester to join a skilled multi-disciplinary team working in the Systems and Platforms Team as part of the Funding and Disclosure Reform Program.

The Enterprise Integration Tester role is to actively test, develop, execute, and report the delivery of ongoing regression testing and functional testing aligned to the Agile Scrum and Sprint delivery processes.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Design and execute integration test plans for complex multi-system environments, including APIs, data pipelines, and Azure services.
• Test CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for integration solutions while maintaining a keen focus on efficiency, reliability and traceability.
• Oversee the configuration and management of development, testing, and production environments, ensuring accurate replication of real-world conditions for rigorous integration testing.
• Apply advanced scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML to streamline deployments and test environments.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and security of integration solutions. Configure alerting systems to facilitate proactive issue resolution.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipeline to enhance software quality and reliability, including security testing practices, Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), to ensure the integrity of integration solutions.\
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system analysts, integration testers, and other stakeholders to align DevOps practices with project goals and timelines, fostering a culture of collaboration.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, deployment processes, and configurations to support auditability and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure integration testing aligns with Australian Government security and privacy standards, including the Commonwealth Electoral Act.

Technical skills

• Proven experience in integration testing across cloud-based and hybrid environments.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, including pipeline configuration and test automation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
