About the Position
As part of the Workforce Australia service offering, Matchworks is a provider of Work for the Dole programs. The Work for the Dole program is a key part of a number of job seekers journey and pathway to ongoing and sustainable employments which offers a work experience program aimed at building new skills, experience and confidence whilst giving back to the community.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Work for the Dole Coordinator who can provide a high level of customer service and engagement with jobseekers and host organisations in order to broker and account manage Work for the Dole placement opportunities for jobseekers as well as monitoring placements and ensuring that the program complies with appropriate work, health and safety standards.
Based at any of our offices in South East Brisbane and part of a motivated and tight knit supportive team providing employment services, this is an exceptionally rewarding position where no two days will be the same. Through your engagement and support of jobseekers with varying barriers and capacities and host organisations you will be responsible for –
Development of key relationships with Non-For Profit agencies to develop host placements promoting employability skills for Work For the Dole Participants
Identification of key employability program opportunities through Non For Profit Community Based Agencies
Promotion of Work for the Dole Activities to host placements
Follow up on placement allocation to Work for The Dole placement
Completion of risk assessment for Work for the Dole placement
Ability to meet KPIs for number of Host Placements as required in Employment Region
Attendance to networking opportunities to generate Host Placements and promote Work for the Dole activities
Essential Requirements:
Satisfactory completion of a NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Drivers Licence
Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers and relevant agencies/key stakeholders to negotiate Work for the Dole placement opportunities
Proven experience in cold-calling/reverse marketing
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated high level of professionalism, compliance and attention to detail
Ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation, standards and requirements
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software programs including data management
Previous experience in employment services would be desirable
This position is suited to a go-getter who with highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills and demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail and an ability to engage and influence.
