Our client is multidisciplinary non-process infrastructure construction business supporting Tier 1 mining companies with $10-20M multidisciplinary packages of work involving civil, mechanical and electrical.

These guys are a growing, well-run business with a preference for permanent staff in PM roles able to deliver on a strong pipeline over the long term.

The company is based in Belmont, the projects are primarily in the Pilbara and the rosters reflect the clients rosters which are primarily 2:1 for PM work.

The Role

  • Steer projects with civil and mechanical/structural/electrical engineering components
  • Work closely with the Client / Principal Contractor as required to achieve project goals
  • Organising and assist in directing site labour and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs in consultation with the Commercial Manager

About you:

  • Experienced PM in mining projects to tier 1 standards
  • Previous experience working FIFO, ideally in civil or infrastructure construction
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with a direct workforce as well as managing subcontractors
  • A comprehensive background in project management, project controls or construction management
  • Superior time and priority management skills
  • Confidence in managing across a range of different relationships throughout the business and on site
  • You are currently located in Western Australia and have Australian work rights without restrictions.
