Our business is built on compliance, service quality, and strong client partnerships. With a rapidly growing portfolio, we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily running of our contracts, ensure client satisfaction, and manage project delivery end-to-end.
The OpportunityThis is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the coordination of client accounts, estimating of works, and management of day-to-day operations. Working closely with our clients, subcontractors, and internal team, you'll be the operational heartbeat of Prime Maintenance Projects — ensuring we deliver on time, on budget, and above expectation.
What You'll Do- Account Management – Act as the main point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
- Estimating & Pricing – Scope, prepare, and submit quotations for maintenance works and minor projects.
- Operations Oversight – Coordinate day-to-day operations across trades, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Scheduling & Resource Management – Ensure jobs are scheduled efficiently and resourced appropriately.
- Compliance & Safety – Uphold Prime's ISO-certified systems, NCC requirements, WHS obligations, and client-specific compliance frameworks.
- Financial Tracking – Monitor budgets, project costs, and margins; report on operational performance.
- Team Leadership – Support and guide supervisors, coordinators, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Client Growth – Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts through quality delivery and proactive engagement.
- Strong background in operations management within facilities maintenance, building services, or related trades.
- Proven ability in estimating, quoting, and project costing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills — both with clients and teams.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving ability.
- Sound knowledge of compliance obligations (NCC/BCA, WHS, ESM).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support staff.
