About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician with strong experience in manufacturing environments to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This is not a domestic electrical role — we're looking for someone with expertise in maintaining and repairing complex industrial systems, including conveyors, motors, drives, and high-voltage equipment.
You'll be responsible for fault finding, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime across a range of automated and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial electrical systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise production downtime.
- Work with PLC systems (Allen Bradley or similar) to troubleshoot and optimise operations.
- Maintain and repair motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
- Assist with high-voltage and substation equipment as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and electrical standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A Grade Electrical Licence (essential).
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic).
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing electrical work (not domestic).
- Strong PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley or similar).
- Experience with motors, drives, and industrial automation.
- Instrumentation and Control – Certificate III (desirable).
- Ability to perform both breakdown and preventative maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
