Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Electrician located predominantly in Melbourne, VIC and with some interstate travel. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairing electrical systems, and performing electrical wiring tasks. The role entails maintaining and ensuring all electrical installations are performed according to safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the various maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of industrials machines across Australia. Must be proactive and eager to learn and travel.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Wiring and Electricity
  • Knowledge and experience in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance of FMCG Equipment
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Possession of relevant electrical trade qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Fitting/mechanical apptitude and hands on work is an advantage.
