Position Summary
The Front Office Supervisor will supervise the Communications Centre and the Front Desk. During your shift, you will oversee the daily operations. You'll play a vital role in training and mentoring team members, ensuring they embody our commitment to excellence in efficiency, perfection, and impeccable service. You will handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts, and ensure guests feel valued and welcomed.

The Role

  • Lead and inspire the teams, ensuring they deliver exceptional service to every guest.
  • Provide exceptional guest service in answering calls, messages, and emails promptly and professionally, adhering to company communication standards.
  • Utilise Knowcross effectively by placing guest requests for housekeeping, laundry, front office, engineering, and other departments using our internal system.
  • Train and onboard new team members as directed by the Front Desk Manager, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Maintain effective communication with all Hotel departments to enhance our guest experience.
  • Maintain the standards of the hotel and assist the cross-functional department.
  • Address guest concerns professionally, follow up with the appropriate departments, and ensure guest satisfaction to resolve them efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive Hotel knowledge. Become a resource for guests by being knowledgeable about all Hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

Talent Profile

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A friendly personality with a strong passion for fostering positive guest relations.
  • Experience in a similar role at luxury hotels, resorts, or commercial facilities.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel systems, such as Opera Cloud and KnowCross.
  • Ability to work rotating rosters over a day week.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Must have valid working rights in Australia.
