Nova Disability Services Pty Ltd is a reputable NDIS-registered provider offering quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation (Respite) services across Sydney.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Care Officer to join our dedicated and supportive team at our Brighton-Le-Sands location.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities.
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and community access.
Encourage independence, dignity, and choice for all participants.
Maintain accurate progress notes, reports, and incident documentation.
Follow NDIS standards, behaviour support plans, and safety procedures.
Support clients in implementing their NDIS plans and achieving personal goals.
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and allied health professionals.
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
Respond effectively to emergencies and challenging situations.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in disability, aged, or community care.
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or higher qualification.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and First Aid/CPR.
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of person-centred and trauma-informed support practices.
