Full-time position based in Wagga Wagga

As the Business Development Officer, you will take the lead in building relationships with industry partners to market and sell RCC's customised training offerings. This role requires strong business development, sales, and financial skills, along with the flexibility to respond to evolving industry training demands. You will represent RCC at industry events, engage with key stakeholders, develop productive partnerships, and work to enhance the college's reputation across its service region.

About the role....

In this role you will be:  

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities to increase enrolments in accredited training programs
  • Securing prospects with new and existing clients through effective sales and territory management
  • Delivering high standards in business development and account management to achieve set targets
  • Leveraging expertise in Training Package requirements, qualifications, and units of competency to deliver tailored solutions
  • Monitoring targets to ensure all key performance indicators and benchmarks are met

About you....

We're looking for someone who has:  

  • Proven success in business development, account management, or sales
  • Experience in a business development or sales role within an RTO
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with proficiency in computer-based systems
  • Skill in analysing training needs and labour market trends and responding accordingly
  • Ability to implement a territory-based stakeholder management strategy
  • Existing networks within the Riverina region
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualification or willingness to obtain one
  • A current Driver's Licence and flexibility to travel
