The Opportunity

Our client is a private equity backed non-bank lender with a strong market position and ambitious growth plans. They are seeking an FP&A Manager to take ownership of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the group. This standalone role plays a pivotal part in delivering insights, guiding capital allocation, and influencing strategic outcomes across the business.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple P&Ls
  • Deliver accurate performance reporting, analysis, and insights for senior leadership
  • Partner with the CFO, Head of Finance, and senior executives to guide capital allocation and investment decisions
  • Build and maintain financial models, reporting packs, and dashboards
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and scenario planning to support commercial decisions
  • Prepare board-level reporting and provide input into strategic projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting frameworks and drive process efficiencies
  • Collaborate with operational teams to influence business performance

The Expertise

  • CA/CPA qualified with 6–10 years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
  • Hands-on analytical style with the ability to provide clear insights to senior stakeholders
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
  • Commercial mindset with proven experience driving business performance
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or PE-backed environments is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of an organisation
