About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a Financial Services (FSI) background and strong technical acumen to join our Melbourne-based team. This is an analyst-focused role with a strong emphasis on data investigation, insights, and stakeholder engagement.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Must have experience in the Financial Services Industry (FSI)
  • Experience working with AWS cloud-based environments
  • Lead product ownership ,managing backlog, priorities, and delivery of key initiatives.
  • Support BAU,ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution.
  • Oversee and assist with release activities from a data perspective.
  • Drive the development of solutions on Databricks, managing manual processes until automation is in place.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, governance, and risk standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Track the progress, manage risks, and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sound understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks within financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tool
